Five keen students, three helpers and two instructors turned up this
morning more in hope than anticipation for the first day of the course but the
weather gods were kind. The low cloud initially reduced us to practice launch
failures and low circuits but by about 1100 we were getting full height
launches. It was then flyable, but not soarable all day until low cloud and
drizzle caused a slightly early finish at 1700.
Good progress was made by all. - JSi
